Very short contract, long hours
Pros
Paid on time. Because it was a zero-hour contract, I could cancel shifts at any time, with them quick to accept my cancellation.
Cons
Long hours (10 hour days), on feet for 9 hours a day excluding breaks (not paid for just 30 minute lunch). Bad treatment. Told to speed up randomly, even though been working for hours. Treated badly for making minor mistakes, even though been working for hours. Short contract (was zero-hour contract). Only worked there for 4 weeks until they contacted may saying that there were no shifts available and that I should not turn up. A few weeks later, they informed me that my contract had come to an end and that they would send me my P45 at the end of the month. This contract ended at the agreed date, but I only had shifts for about 3 quarters of a month out of a 2 month contract.
