Pros

Working at Displayr has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I joined, I was impressed by the company's commitment to fostering a dynamic and supportive workplace culture. The team here is comprised of talented individuals who are not only passionate about their work but also genuinely supportive of one another. Displayr emphasizes on work-life balance and employee well-being. The leadership team recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life, and they offer flexible work arrangements and wellness programs to support employees in achieving this balance. It's refreshing to work for a company that prioritizes the health and happiness of its employees. Furthermore, Displayr empowers each team to make decisions autonomously, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. This decentralized approach allows teams to respond quickly to challenges and opportunities, driving innovation and agility across the organization.

Cons

While there are always areas for improvement in any organization, I have not encountered any significant cons during my time at Displayr. The company is proactive in addressing challenges and soliciting feedback from employees, which creates a positive and collaborative work environment overall.

Pros

There are so many reasons I love working at Displayr; it’s no surprise that we’ve been recognized as a Great Place to Work for several years. Here are some of my top reasons: - Brilliant team - Engaging challenges - Competitive salary - Monthly outings (go karts, escape rooms, scuba diving, top golf) - Lunch credits - Flexible working hours - Remote first - Growth opportunities - Training budget

Cons

There is a substantial amount of legacy code that requires attention and modernization. While this can be challenging, I view it as an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the codebase, it enhances my problem-solving skills and keeps my work engaging

Pros

What an awesome team, a workplace that makes you feel included. They care about me and my job development, with clear coaching and guidance. There are also monthly Super Wednesdays, where it's a team bonding event! It is very cool that they also fly people from interstate down for the event!

Cons

Nothing worthy of a comment.

7/10 compensation can be a bit hectic due to project reprioritisation but never in a stressful way can be a bit hard to get promoted unless you really fight for it

Pros

- great work-life balance - Incredibly collaborative culture. There's always someone willing to help when you're stuck, and open discussion is highly encouraged - excellent learning opportunities backed by a generous annual learning allowance, plus plenty of people invested in helping with career development - strong commitment to transparency and collaboration - great social environment with monthly team gatherings and optional weekly activities like yoga, running, and monthly board game nights!!! - weekly lunch credits - strong feedback culture - The Sydney office is well-located with plenty of food options nearby for those who work onsite - very inclusive atmosphere! Displayr has a multicultural environment with genuine respect for different identities and cultural backgrounds.

Cons

Legacy monolithic codebase and significant technical debt slow development considerably. It's a complex system that requires considerable time and context to navigate and modernize.
