False promises and slave driven - Avoid it.

Pros

Displaysense is a small company with big ambition and is a company that sell themselves very well. Being a small company it was quite easy to create good working relationships and some projects were particularly fun.

Cons

Although Displaysense sell themselves very well, nothing turned into a reality. In my time there, it was simply a slave driven exercise with no reward when you go above and beyond your job role. There's no job progression or salary increases here, so if you are looking for a job to improve your career don't touch it with a barge pole.

Pros

The salary was competitive if you hit targets (otherwise not particularly great)

Cons

The worst job I've ever had. The female manager, who thankfully has left now made life unbearable if she decided she didn't like you. Unless you left your desk for a break, you were still expected to work. The idea of training someone was to make them read a book (in your own time!)... The MDs distance themselves from the day to day running and simply want the money coming in. Unfair and thoroughly questionable HR practices.
