While our management is not perfect, we always seek to improve. The door to the Director's office is always left open, and employees do walk in at any time to discuss work, personal issues and feedback.
The role of vendor and SI is not mutually exclusive. Ditium is a vendor, SI and developer of an Enterprise Software which is certified and deployed by major banks across Asia Pacific. These banks use our software to process financial transactions, and mistakes can be costly. For these reasons, Ditium constantly invests in systems and staff training to improve the service delivery to our clients.
Junior staff are supervised more closely while they develop the work discipine and skills required to deploy the software in the client's environment. As the learning curve is steep and technical, some employees are provided with counselling and improvement programs if their performance is not up to the mark. The objective of these programs is to train and not threaten the employee. Based on your feedback, we will review the delivery and language of the program to make it more encouraging to Junior Employees.
Employees who have proven themselves are able to work independently and cooperate with different teams. They are rewarded on a different salary scale and provided with additional benefits. This may explain why 70% of our staff are with the company for 5 years or more, with some being with the company for more than 15 years.
