Pros

You get to work with sweet, loving dogs. You get to learn a lot of new things. The space is huge dogs get to play all day off leash and you get to feed them and train them. Everything about this place is amazing except for the owner.

Cons

During the five months I worked at this place 10 people where in and out TEN !!! Mostly because they couldn’t handle our boss (the owner). During the first month she was really nice and always thanked the staff for doing a great job. After the janitor quit that was when she brought out her true colors she would yell at the staff me and my coworker would go above and beyond to keep her but mostly the dogs happy, we cleaned, fed, bathed and looked after 70+ dogs. It was only two people looking after 70+ dogs for five months because no one lasted longer then 1 week. We had no problem looking after the dogs don’t get me wrong she is a very good dog trainer and she taught us many things we didn’t know prior working at this place. The problem was she didn’t appreciate her employees in the five months I worked there she made me cry twice and said mean things like “do you even think?” “Do you understand?” “Are you dumb?” “Who raised you?” “This is why I pay you so much!” And the list goes on and on. I wasn’t the only only that got treated like that all of my coworkers were going through the same with the owner even the last janitor lady that left before I left she left in tears because she called her dumb and many other things. If I wrote everything I went through with this lady I would never finish. I feel like she took advantage of her employees kindness and need of job. She was the most heartless lady I’ve ever worked with, the reason why I stayed was because yes the pay was good but the bond I created with every single dog there was amazing I will truly miss them all. The pay is good but it’s not worth all the stress she makes you go through physically and mentally. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here at all !

Pros

Co-workers, Cute Dogs, ok pay?

Cons

Worst Boss. I can't believe how she treats people here, it has to be illegal. If you feel like being belittled in front of others and treated like a dog, its the place for you. I usually don't let people get to me but wow was she bad.

Pros

The dogs (when screened appropriately) are awesome to work with. It's a high energy, fast paced job and if you love dogs, the work specifically with the dogs is incredibly rewarding.

Cons

The owner, Ana, is the con. The main, the only and the worst of the cons of working there. She treats her employees terribly and creates a very hostile work environment. She will yell at staff, call them stupid, lazy, apathetic, arrogant, ect. in front of others. She will talk to other employees about how awful her chosen target of the day has been. She assumes all of her employees just don't want to work, don't know how to work, and won't work despite evidence to the contrary. No one, not even the people that last the longest, know how to do the simplest things like scoop poop or empty the poop buckets. She also will sometimes allow aggressive dogs to pass the screening. By aggressive, I mean a co-worker of mine had to get stitches because she allowed a known-biter into the kennel free environment. Only after it bit again was it booted from 'daycare.' I have never worked in a place that had such employee turnover in my life and I pray I never do again. Honest to god, it was less stressful and more rewarding to work at a fast food place with a 16 year old manager. If you want a job where you go home at night and look forward to (or, at the very least, aren't apprehensive of) the next day? Not the job for you. Basically, this job sucks even if you love the work. It's a stress-bomb due to management. Don't work here. I repeat, unless you are desperate, don't work here.
