Pros

You get to work with dogs

Cons

I hate this place lol. The owner works there but never does anything hands on. They dont treat their employees well. You better not be sick while you work there, because theyll fire you if you try to take off.

Pros

There are some wonderful people, clients and dogs here and it can be a great place to work. I loved my job there.

Cons

As a former manager, let me give you some insight: Management has a system where they will only speak to an employee if it's a level 5 emergency. One specific manager loves to be the judge, jury and manipulator of gossip and tattling. Good luck finding a manager as they're in meetings all day. Management does not take staff seriously. Multiple times I saw staff bring up vital information of dangerous situations to eye rolling management and nothing was ever done. The old lead of the call center ( I think she's a trainer now) is hated by all staff for her conniving, demeaning, self righteous and miserable personality. The owner used to really care about staff, clients and dogs but he really only sees dollar signs. I know this happens with most businesses, it just is a shame. Also, tout their core values but don't follow them as managers and will use them as a blanket disciplinary reason.

Don't expect to be here long enough to get a pension from them!

Pros

-Get to work with dogs, if that's your thing -Hourly pay isn't terrible, but not great either

Cons

-Unbelievably high staff turnover--don't think you'll be making any long-term friendships at this place since either you or the other person will be gone before you know it -Constantly shifting work hours -Expect to be there on weekends and holidays -Don't try to have a life outside of this place because schedule is always different week-to-week, and if you can't constantly adjust your life for them, then they'll fire you -They invite you in for interview, and it turns out to be a mass group interview, not a 1-on-1 interview -Don't plan a vacation--they'll pretend that they're ok with it, and then fire you when you get back -Don't even think about having any sort of disability if you want to work here--the management won't be accommodating or understanding of it since they're attitude is "why try to accommodate when it's easy enough to replace" (Nice, huh?)
