Pros

Flexible with your schedule Hang out with sweet dogs Useful only for resume purposes

Cons

They will assign ONE person to walk, feed, sometimes give meds, and supervise around 20 dogs. They will train you with two people doing it but later on your own. They claim the dogs come first but clearly money does if they can afford two receptionists hanging out gossiping with the groomers with only one kennel attendant. You are either in the play area or hall but they expect you to fly to stop a fight if it's on the other side then dare ask why you weren't there. They'll scold you if you're too soft and don't stop a fight and scold you if you're too rough and tell you to calm down. They hate to see a dirty mop but it takes five minutes to clean but plenty can happen in those five minutes. Groomers have plenty of time to hang out but don't stop to help. They're always asking people to cover a shift because at the last minute the realize they need more attendants yet continue to only schedule one. They don't learn. It's a real good day if you get two. You can't expect people to put up with that much nonsense for $8.15/hr. I just stopped caring my last week there before quitting.
