Most toxic job I’ve ever experienced

Pros

You learn a lot. Office location is nice.

Cons

Unfortunately, the entire office is forced to work in one main room to micro manage, with the CEO/founders watching over our shoulders, literally. CEO/founder is extremely rude, retaliatory, discriminatory, and vindictive. Unethical work culture. Empty promises on promotions. Zero trust, constantly accused of lying or betrayal. Owners/CEO are extremely paranoid and create an anxiety induced and fear implemented work environment. Lots of arguments/yelling. Revolving door of employees— I believe over 10 in and out in less than 6 months In the past year. Zero appreciation for employees- their well being, health, and goals for growth within the company. Owners very insulting, referring to one’s grieving over an immediate family members death as “too much” and called college degrees “trash”. Honestly, the CEO is one of the worst people I have ever met in my life, much less worked for, with zero regard for anyone but himself. Baffling.

Extreme Toxic Workplace

Pros

Beauty experience, that’s it lol

Cons

If you’re looking to feel completely drained and undervalued, this is the place. It’s easily the most unprofessional work environment I’ve experienced, and that’s saying a lot. Management often uses fear-based tactics, telling employees things like they won’t get hired anywhere else or won’t succeed beyond this role, just to keep them from leaving. It creates a really toxic atmosphere where you’re constantly made to feel like you’re not good enough. The company itself has a lot of potential, but the focus is stuck on low-quality, clickbait-style content rather than actually building something meaningful. Any attempt to bring fresh ideas or elevate the brand gets shut down immediately. There’s a strong resistance to change, almost like they’re determined to stay outdated. Leadership is extremely reactive and unprofessional, often making decisions based on emotions rather than strategy. On top of that, employees are monitored on cameras and even have their conversations listened to, which feels invasive and uncomfortable. It might be okay if you’re just looking to gain some quick experience, but beyond that, it’s not worth your time. And if you do end up here, take everything leadership says with a grain of salt.
