Pros
The few opportunities you get to travel to NYC and actually work with the products. Donghia is known for having beautiful products, which they do. Unfortunately, unless you are in upper management or more worthy than a bottom-feeder, you are not provided the opportunity to enjoy or work with the actual products often enough. The best benefit they used to have, were 1/2 days on some Fridays - they took that away this year. They do pay a large portion of your medical benefits; however the plans are only OK.
Cons
Extremely toxic environment. So many people are unhappy and underappreciated. The company does nothing to boost morale or even research the cause(s) of the problem. The only people striving in this company are in upper management and sadly, I'm not even sure if that's true anymore. The employee turn-around is extremely quick. Advancement - not even a chance in hell. No matter how hard you work, how many hours you spend there, or how much of your heart and soul and give to this company, IT WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED. You will be promised many things, with possibly a fraction of one of them coming to fruition. Don't expect a raise - only more work. You know that funny saying "My job has this cute thing they do - if you're really good at your job, they give you everyone else's job, too". YEP, expect that. Management is more concerned with the money in their pockets over the care of their employees. No one is treated fairly or equally. EVERYTHING is a secret. Everyone is left in the dark about EVERYTHING. Trust me, this not an exaggeration.
