      The Douglas County PMO is the most toxic work environment I have ever worked in in my career. The daily passive-aggressive power struggle, and attempts to undermine each other at the manager level has reached a level of unprofessionalism that is reminiscent of high school - only worse. These are supposed to be adults and professionals. The leadership is not just lacking but the biggest part of the culture problem. It's a shame - everyone who is any good at what they do and has a moral compass is one good interview away from moving along. Those that remain have risen to their level of incompetency for sure.

      The only thing good is benefits. Other departments might be good?

      Blatant favoritism, favored employees get better equipment, scheduling benefits, and exclusive opportunities for training. Supervisor has unwarranted inappropriate meetings with staff, discussing the supervisor’s personal wage, performance, and health issues. Completely unprofessional department, countless number of OSHA violations and discriminatory remarks. I’ve seen atleast 2-3 employees quit per month since being here. The job description is a complete bait and switch.
