-Doyle Construction is well managed and pays good salaries and performance-per-project bonuses. -The organizational structure is very supportive of the field operations team
Cons
I don't see any negatives. Doyle size is approximately 65 employee company, and their project revenue is 1 million to 25 million
No micromanaging. Salaries are ok. General Superintendent is very good at active listening. Opportunities to advance. If your good at your job, you will flourish here.
Cons
PM team is young and inexperienced, but the top PM and General Super offset the load enough so most don’t notice it.
Some of the senior leadership know”GC” work theoretically but have no real practical experience….and it shows very quickly.
- Safety is good but doesn't drown you from doing any work.
- Bonuses are generous and incentivizes your project team to delivery results for the customer in a safe manner. You get a cut of the pie.
- Management are straight-forward, non-BS people. There stance is transparency.
- You're trusted to make decisions, but there is enough quality checking in place to ensure these are going to lead to the result you need.
- Having left the environment from the military, I had lost the feeling of team commarderie in my previous employer that was a large national GC where lots of people went missing when the project needed it. Doyle is a business with a strong team work philosophy.
Cons
- Projects are not as technical as some others GCs
