Pros

• Fun people to work with • Supportive co workers • Good health benefits • Provides lunch every Friday • Dog friendly office • Most employees are on the same page when it comes to feelings about the company.

Cons

• Overworked • Does not focus on entertainment and primarily focuses on education. Most employees in the company began working at Dreamscape for entertainment and miss developing that content. • HORRIBLE Finance department. CFO is crazy and can be heard screaming at her employees throughout the work place. CFO has caused employees in finance and other departments to resign due to stress and budget cuts that prevent work from getting done efficiently. Do not work for Finance. No one lasts a year in that department. Emotional and Physical health diminishes due to the CFO’s attitude. People leave the company from this department to improve their health. • Mediocre HR department. There is no HR. The job was handed to someone that does not know how to support the companies workers. People have tried seeking support from "HR" with no successful outcomes. Now most employees have stopped to seek help and the company culture is collapsing. • No yearly raises. People have worked 4 years for this company and never once received a raise. We were promised reviews with possible raises in the summer of 2022. It is now June 2023 and reviews and raises have still not been given. A promised back pay was promised but workers need the money now. Inflation is hurting everyone and the pay has not increased for 3 years now. We are being paid 2019 salaries. • Company culture used to be healthy and energizing. It is sad to see it almost completely diminished due to the mismanagement of the company.

Pros

By far the best team I’ve worked with. Everyone genuinely loved working together. I made such great friends working here. I’m so thankful for the people because that’s why I stuck it out for so long. You get to work with fun cutting edge technology everyday. To be at the start of something so huge is an exciting privilege.

Cons

I had such high hopes for Dreamscape. They are selling and producing a product like no other. I thought I found my dream job, a company I could grow with. I was extremely wrong. Management seems in incredibly immature and enjoys putting employees against one another. I have never been so micromanaged and talked down to at a job. If there’s an issue management does not come to you instead the punish you before hearing your side of the story. There is no benefit of doubt. There are rarely employee one on ones (despite what we were promised in the beginning) so you are never instructed how you can improve and be considered for promotions unless you ask and ask and ask. There is a complete and utter lack of transparency as far as promotions and changes in the store structure go. If given a promotion you’re told ‘don’t tell anyone’. This is how gossip in the workplace starts and is perpetuated by management. We had such a solid, fun team in the early stages that worked extremely well with each other and now more than half of that team has left the job we were all thrilled to have. We were so excited to be chosen in a meticulous interview process. We thought we had a dream job with an emerging company. We were not so lucky. Now people are jumping ship, not because they don’t like the work, not because they don’t like their coworkers and not because of the amazing technology. They’re leaving because they feel unappreciated, belittled, and unheard. We have raised complaints to HR, management and upper management. No change. And you wonder why your core group of dependable employees are leaving?
