Fun Clients, Tough Work Environment, No Benefits

Pros

Fun clients in cool industries like food and bev, fashion, hospitality, etc. Got to work a lot of cool events with VIPs.

Cons

The work environment was tough to navigate as it is a very small agency with very fast-paced work. It did not offer the best room for growth and the career trajectory was almost nonexistent. This comes with the industry and work-horse feel of PR, but it felt like some minor slip ups were detrimental to your growth as an employee. The benefits, health insurance and pay were not livable.

Great Agency

Pros

Because the team is much smaller than other agencies, you get some great direct exposure to clients. Your level of experience is fast tracked here as compared to other agencies because you're running the show with many great opportunities to flex various PR muscles.

Cons

It is a smaller team, which is great but not for everyone. It's a much more fast-paced and intense workload because you are carrying multiple accounts with a team of only 2 to 4 people. It is also socially highly involved in terms of the team, internally.
