Pros

None to talk about ..

Cons

The company is heavily affected by internal politics, with decision-making often driven from the top down and little meaningful input from those doing the work. While leadership frequently talks about improving processes and empowering employees to be the “voice of change,” in practice there is strong resistance to modernising outdated systems and ways of working. Many processes and technologies feel years behind industry standards, and genuine suggestions for improvement rarely translate into action. There is limited transparency from management, leaving employees uninformed about important decisions and changes that directly affect their work. Opportunities for learning, mentorship, and professional development are minimal, while much of the focus appears to be on promoting the company’s image rather than addressing operational shortcomings. The culture can also feel distrustful at times, with gossip, back-channel conversations, and political behaviour creating an environment where employees are often left feeling unsupported and vulnerable

Management needs training, no people skills or time management skills. No accountability in management after repeated mistakes People blaming when the solution is rooted in unrealistic deadlines. Stingy with the workplace incentives e.g overtime food allowance.

Poorest Management

Pros

There is honestly nothing positive to highlight about this company in terms of processes, management, or overall experience. The only redeeming aspect is that the staff are quite approachable and easy to talk to. Beyond that, there’s significant room for improvement across the board.

Cons

Timelines are consistently unrealistic, creating sustained pressure across teams. On a daily basis, team members express high levels of stress, yet there is little to no consideration or adjustment from leadership. There is a clear disconnect between expectations and practical delivery capacity. Leadership is a major concern. The current CTO demonstrates a lack of awareness across several critical areas and tends to rely heavily on micromanagement rather than strategic direction. Decision-making often follows a rigid “my way or the highway” approach, with little regard for input from managers or the realities faced by teams. There is also significant pressure passed down to managers to push teams beyond reasonable limits, even when it’s clear that timelines are overly optimistic. The focus appears to be heavily skewed toward financial outcomes, with minimal regard for employee wellbeing or sustainable delivery. Culture is another weak point. There is little interest in improving ways of working, processes, or team culture. Feedback from managers about their teams is often overlooked, and there is no meaningful emphasis on continuous improvement. Overall, aside from salary, there are no notable perks or benefits. The organization lacks balance, support, and a healthy working environment.
