      Phenomenal career experience, until it wasn't

      Pros

      Some very smart engineers, most of whom are great collaborators. Equity, but whether or not that every amounts to much is very much in the air (probably unlikely, really) Dependent on team, but a lot of autonomy and self-selection of stories.

      Cons

      Most of the OGs are gone, and with it a lot of the stellar leadership and glue that held things together. Company vision and direction have become scattered. Compensation is *wildly* uncompetitive as they are trying to pay Iowa salaries nationwide. My compensation nearly doubled when I took another remote position. Brady (CEO) is totally and laughably out of touch, he rarely addresses the entire company anymore, even at all-hands.

      Lack of vision, strategy Unstable Tech API Agent of Veridian Credit Union 80% Up time Fraud Risk- The number of incidents is unknown to the general public and covered up Leadership- The team is comprised of inexperienced leaders with no direction. The CEO does not know how to lead. He gets defensive if you challenge his one-sided thinking. You will be seen a an asset if you go along with his vision of lies and deceit. He is passive aggressive and a real punk. He will only use slack to communicate feedback or to put you down. If you are looking at this company, you should run away!

      Get to work with extremely talented folks

      Cons

      Ben had put together a talented team. However, the organization is weak on culture (trumped by sycophancy ), strategy (trumped by CEO whims) and teamwork (trumped by self-preservation).
