Pros

I wish there was something positive that I am able to share about my experience while being employed. But if I must share a single pro, it would be the mentorship that is provided by the Sales Directors. They truly cared about your well being and success and did their best to help you achieve your goals.

Cons

I am not even sure where to begin here. From the day that I was hired, I was completely unsure if I had made the right decision to excel my career. Management made it very apparent that they do not value their employees - there is no chance for advancement, they do not promote mobility, commission structure is altered on a quarterly basis so they don't have to actually pay you on it - which basically makes your work feel meaningless and completely undervalued. They hire managers that want to be bosses - not leaders, not mentors; not anyone to look up to. The sales leaders for the US do not acknowledge your existence, are not open to criticism or ideas to boost success, nor are they ever available even for a 5 minute conversation. The lead management is not present in the office but uploads daily photos traveling on vacation and expressed they do not have a road to profitability. To top off the awful management, HR for the NYC office is one of the rudest, condescending, intolerable, belittling, arrogant, and domineering teams I have ever encountered in my life. The way they speaks to you personally and your peers makes it hard to respect them in any capacity, that their mere presence will make you feel uncomfortable and uneasy.

Pros

You can do whatever you want. You can get paid. You can learn a lot about how a company shouldn't operate. Great employee retention - if you want a pay raise simply threaten to quit, and you'll automatically be promoted and your number will be matched! Pro: if you are an older white man, you should work here. These are the most valued employed at Dynamic Yield, and the only ones that are listened to.

Cons

-No maternity leave policy -No paternity leave policy -No bereavement leave policy -Inappropriate holidays off (example: Columbus day and not MLK) -Zero humanity -Toxic toxic leadership -Product is flimsy at best -Paralyzing amounts of top-down mistrust. Not one department can make any decisions without it going all the way up the chain of command. -Open discriminatory behaviors.

Very Tough Environment, Decent Technology

Pros

The technology that actually is DY is quite good. Very robust, but also that is at a detriment. Overall, the company (technologically) is position quite well and has good potential. That being said, there are many other aspects here that will harm it's future.

Cons

Unfortunately there is very poor work/life balance. A lot is demanded at all hours of the day as the company is a globally present one. At work you are usually not treated so great, mistakes are not easily forgiven. As another review suggestions, promotions are arbitrary, political and rare. It seem like they bring in people from all over the world to hire but don't look at the right ones. Also I agree with the HR comments. Unfortunately they are pretty nice but take no actions. Since I have worked here I have see promises go unfulfilled which I think harm recruiting too and make you not trust HR, which also makes the culture more bad. There is no parental leave, no appropriate holidays / days off, anythings like that. I hope he improves it since it could be really great. This should be a great blossuming place but there is no real support that makes anyone feel like he really matters here.
