Pros
Team has very bright young talent who in many ways keep the company afloat. Work life balance easily maintained. Accommodating to emergency and personal issues requiring leave.
Cons
Management is disorganized and stretched too thin. Leadership prioritizes vanity over running a successful company. Over reliant on federal contracts leading to shaky job security. Little to no direction given on projects and expectations resulting in projects staying in development hell. Would take weeks to months to receive approvals. No support from leadership or management on projects to achieve goals. Set up to fail.

Pros
ECU provides a positive work environment with long-term stability and generous benefits. I get the chance to work on exciting bids that are outside of the box compared to past experience. I have only worked here for 9 months but already feel valued and appreciated by an employer and coworkers that value creativity, communication, and connections. I have recommended ECU to previous coworkers.
Cons
I currently work onsite and am back to commuting but try to make the most of it by listening to podcasts and audible books.
