Pros

My experience working in the pharmacy department has been fantastic and I’ve definitely learned a lot through the leadership of Mona and Kevin. They’ve been absolutely fantastic and are very supportive of everyone in our department.

Cons

There are DEFINITELY some cons to working here The job can get very repetitive very fast and there aren’t any new challenges that makes coming to work exciting. It definitely feels as if your career has come to a screeching halt while being there and each year is being thrown away into the abyss. On top of that, there are no opportunities for growth AT ALL. The position that you’re hired into will be your position for the foreseeable future. There is no tuition reimbursement which is understandable since the size of the company is fairly small. This is definitely not a place to stay for the long haul. I’m dumbfounded as to why people would stay here long term.

Pros

Year to year business growth. Average small business employer. Good medical and pharmacy benefits. PTO's (10 in first year, 20 in 2nd year). Floating holidays.

Cons

In a nutshell: nepotism, nepotism, nepotism. If you are family or friend to the family you are on the fast track and in the untouchable group. If you are not in the close circle forget about raises or growth. Keep your head down and avoid the dirty politics - the walls have ears!!!! Performance reviews do not exist. False idea of flex time: senior management complains about people leaving after 8 hrs if you started as early as 7am regardless if work is done or not. There is a reason for the high turn over.

Pros

Lenient schedule. Put in my 40 hours and Im out the door, which is what my boss wants. They have been hiring way too many Indian people and now it feels like we work for a middle eastern company. My boss does performance reviews so thats definitely a plus. I would say I work for the better half of the company.

Cons

Some family members who work there in high places dont really do too much....People are watching your back and what you do on the computers. People stare when they see you leaving at 3PM even though you got there at 645-7... CEO says that she cares about each and every person employed under her, but does she really know everyone's name? Instead of spying on people, get to know them and their career ambitions so you could help them better.
