Pros

Job sounds fantastic, good training ish.

Cons

Pays sucks for what you do - training is good but as soon as it’s over they basically throw you out to the wolves and expect you to remember all of the two weeks of training and if you don’t remember you get you butt handed to you and treated like and idiot. My boss was not the brightest one- one minute be nice to you next minute ripping you a new one for no reason. Boss follows you to job site and after locate boss says “you did a great job you have this thing down” then after you miss a week (death in family) he calls you and threatens to fire you and says you need more training cause everything you do is terrible. Can’t locate need new training.

Pros

Company vehicle, phone, and gas card. Get to be outside and exercise a lot. Learn and master something new every day.

Cons

Horrifically high pressure environment. 60% of the time contractors do not answer their phones. No work/life balance. Forget about actually taking your vacation. More! More! More! Faster! Faster! Faster! And then somebody ends up getting hurt. If this job doesn't stress you out then you're detached from how lethal a mistake or a shortcut can be.

Pros

You get a company vehicle that you can take home every night. This allows you to not put miles on your personal vehicle.

Cons

Mandatory overtime typically 12 to 14 hours a day. And if you can't get all of your work done during the week you will be working Saturdays and Sundays. They start you out with no experience at $15 an hour and if you have some experience you might get 17. No benefits for a year.
