STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I don't usually write reviews for anything but i feel the need to warn others so they don't get mistreated by this company. If i'd have seen more honest reviews before applying, i wouldn't have. It is important people get to see this. Worst agency/event company ever. Please don't ignore bad reviews and think it will be different for you! So.. People don't always get breaks at most you eat your food where you've been stood all day. You get left in the deep end without the job being explained and sometimes left stood all day on some random road alone in the middle of no where and no one comes by for hours to see if you need the toilet or to check if you're still there. Most roles are outside of and not actually a part of the main event so you rarely get to see anything interesting of the events you work at. You're left waitng around to be picked up from events HOURS after you've finished and they won't pay you whilst you wait around for them or care when you inform management or the office of the situation- seriously this happens almost every shift. Then they tell us to arrive early or they'll leave without us, you arrive early and and are waiting an hour for them to arrive. Before and after shifts time keeping is massive con! If you are waiting to get taken home from London for example you end up getting home 5 hours after you stopped getting paid, counting the average waiting time for the minibus to actually arrive. Communication is non existent no matter how serious your issue. the office only contact when they want something but never answer anything from us. They don't respect your time! The organisation of this company is non existent and nothing is ever organised, management are always flapping about its just disgraceful.. its a laughing stock, almost unbelievable what goes on there! The majority of staff they seem to have are students that visibly don't care as much as they don't so whilst you're on shift if you have an actual work ethic be prepared to be the only one that cares about what you do! Even if you are a student and are attracted to the flexibility and working with friends (which is something they promise) you will be split up when you get on shift! You never get to stay with friends, maybe on the rare occasion. There are many other better agencies than this one, please don't disrespect yourself by working for these rude, uncaring, unprofessional people. If you struggle with any mental health issues they will be made worse by this company! When I was new I was told they try and get away with not paying people for all kinds of shifts and ignore you when you ask any questions even regarding late payment and I have now seen the evidence of this myself. Office staff are rude and there's not one bit of care for staff and their wellbeing whilst they're on shift. Most people currently working there have told me first hand they are disheartened with the way they are treated and the lack of everything. It's very cliquey and a lot of them are related which also makes it almost impossible to move up to higher positions as they use their siblings/family members as supervisors... They aren't given the position for their credentials they have the position through blood relation. It seems they've lost any decent contracts to better agencies over time as it's mostly just car parking available now. Other event companies offer a wider variety and more lively fun shifts. ( and probably more respect) They are rude and get away with doing a lot of questionable (sometimes illegal) things. Roll on the day all of their staff love themselves enough to quit.
