Communication across teams is inconsistent, and there’s a tendency for blame-shifting instead of accountability. This creates an environment where people are more focused on protecting themselves than collaborating effectively. Management frequently talks about values like “integrity” and “teamwork,” but in practice, those principles don’t seem to guide real decisions on the ground. It can feel like there’s one set of rules for leadership and another for everyone else.
