      Pros

      Work life balance not only possible but positively encouraged. Smaller business so you're still a person and not just a number against a job role on a spreadsheet. Enthusiastic and supportive colleagues all looking to improve the service, so working together to achieve it. Generous salary, benefits and a focus on personal development. Numerous social opportunities available to staff, and a number of subsidised extras, such as lunchtime yoga, car valeting etc have been secured by the leadership team.

      Cons

      Parking can sometimes be an issue with limited space available.

      Hi there, Thank you for your review, apologies that I am only just responding despite your review being left some time ago. We have just attended a working seminar to understand how Glassdoor can impact our business and as a result we now recognise the power and importance of an active Glassdoor page. It is always a pleasure to read when employees mention our positive work life balance, since EValue started we have continued to work on this area and aim to review and change based on our employees feedback. Over time and as EValue has grown in size we have kept within our HR strategy that we maintain the positive culture and working environment of a small business and hopefully this is still the case. Since leaving your review, hopefully you no longer have parking issues you had experienced.       A nice company but management cannot let go of the culture heavily influenced by the company they grew out from

      Salary & some people are made to stay and work very late with no compensation other than pizza. No career options

      2013 you left this review and now in 2019 we are responding, this is not a reflection on you just a reflection on how we were unaware of how to use Glassdoor to its best and how positive it is to respond to all reviews and have an active page. So, apologies that its taken so long to respond to your review. I am confident that we have already addressed some of your concerns since you left your review. I believe that EValue continues to have 'great people' working here and that is evident in the work delivered along with the environment & culture that we have here. It was great to read that this was the case in 2013 when you were with us. Since your time here it was recognised that some salaries and roles were not considered at market rate for our business and location, as a result we now complete an annual salary & role benchmarking exercise. This has reduced, adjusted and removed the salary gaps that we once had. I would now consider our salaries and roles to be very competitive which is great. Also since your time here it was noted that our employees were working long hours and the work life balance was slipping which is something that we do not wish to promote here at EValue, as a result of this we now ensure that the office is not open late, work loads are shared and discussed with reasonable deadlines being set. This along with a flexible working approach focusing on employees output rather than input has had a positive effect on our employees. Thanks again and all the best, Claire HR Business Partner

      Pros

      Friendly atmosphere and emphasis on wellbeing and looking after employees. The clients are large and longstanding and the technology has been developed over many years to be one of the market leading forecasting and planning tools.

      Parking is limited, like most companies on a business park
