      - Start-up culture (results oriented, constant opportunity for innovation and stepping up) - Best answer wins (not loudest or most senior) - Fast pace of growth provides plenty of opportunities for advancement - Great team, collaborative atmosphere

      Cons

      As in any fast growing company you have to be ready to work hard and embrace change.

      We have grown out of our start-up days, and are learning to function like a "real" company. Sometimes this can be wonderful, like when we get to decide how a process will function. Sometimes it can be stressful, like when no one has ever done a thing before, and we have to figure out how.

      Focused on getting work done, instead of time cards, dress code, etc. Typically hires outside of the energy industry, creating a diverse work environment Everyone has a voice to air suggestions/concerns, a flat hierarchy

      Working for a small start-up can be stressful, must build your own runway
