Pros
The West Palm Beach, Florida location is beautiful. The clients are generally pretty good. The way the check is presented is electronic and the default is 25% tip, with the option to select 20% or 30% as an alternative. The guest can click to make a custom tip, however most use the former option.
Cons
The West Palm Beach, Florida location is fairly new and thus management doesn't know quite how to manage the restaurant because there are no benchmarks. Management is fairly laid back however that comes at a cost because guest complaints are not often handled that well. Furthermore, since this is a new restaurant the employee turnover is higher that average. That is a problem because food service is already a high turnover industry to begin with. The restaurant struggles severely with understaffing. Scheduling is horrible. What those two things mean together is that working in the FOH your average income per hour takes a hit. You will work more than the average server even during slow times. Also there are not many talented servers here. No one ever does their side work and which makes your job harder. You will also be expected to pick up their slack.
