Pros

A paycheck, but well below industry. That's it. There is not another single "pro".

Cons

Endless micromanaging. Hostile and toxic work environment, because of the CEO. Who should not be allowed to manage people in any capacity. She is IMPOSSIBLE to work for. And with. This wasn't a job, this wasn't a career, it felt more like a prison sentence. It was THE worst work experience I have ever endured. I've read the other comments here and I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my thoughts and opinion. I knew there had to be others out there. It's also blatantly obvious that the CEO and/or her husband (the COO) have written all the glowing reviews as damage control. Which is truly pathetic. Equally pathetic, the cookie cutter response she has made to all the negative reviews: "A disgruntled ex-employee who wrote and did moire work writing this fictional review then ever did working for our company...." Nice English. And try proof reading before posting. And: "A disgruntled ex-employee who felt that just showing up to the office and sitting there at their desk and collecting a paycheck was the job..." The best was one of the "cons" posted on one of your positive reviews: "The negative people who posted the unprofessional reviews". LOL! What does that have to do with an employee's experience at Employ-R!?

Pros

Location and free parking. Close to my home. I can't think of a single pro.

Cons

Sweatshop atmosphere. No trust. I was treated like a child. Pay is below industry standard. Office environment is awful. No privacy. Can't even check your email because the CEO and COO are constantly watching everything you do. You feel like you're working in a fishbowl.

Pros

There are no pros. Yes it was close to home, yes, it offered free parking, 401k and snacks (if CEO felt employees were being good) but these perks were not worth the toll working here took on my sanity.

Cons

paranoia, employees are not allowed to go to doctors appointments. During my time I was not allowed to take vacation or sick leave. If the CEO thought you were interviewing, you were fired. Through my time there, I saw 7 teams get wiped out, and we started from scratch again. CEO will accuse employees of organizing against her. Unlawful business practices. We were only allowed to hire youngish attractive people. Disabilities, race, sex were all discriminated against. Severe mocking was done after someone with apparently a lazy eye was interviewed, and the CEO said she could not place them. Our contractors experienced many payroll issues, and were even refused pay. Hostile environment. Recruiters were pitted against one another. Favoritism was rampant, with each person experiencing their time. Working relationships were extremely frowned upon and would later lead to CEO paranoia. Emotional, mental and verbal abuse were experienced by many. CEO is moody and does not manage people, workflow or a business well. Be prepared to experience sudden loss in job security due to moodiness. Punishment is inflicted if someone is late. Shifty business practices. Those who have left have yet to see their 401k, commission is withheld, and other things I'm too timid to put on display. Last paychecks are withheld. Finally, employees have been threatened, mistreated, and highly disregarded. Even if your complaints are taken to the appropriate personnel, you will regret doing so.
