Pros

They cater some decent food items, at times. There are a handful of nice people, not enough though.

Cons

** Please be aware of the slew of positive reviews, following my unfortunately negative (truthful) one of 1-Page. I am not taking this down.** BEWARE. The employees and management of the 1-Page Company are delusional. The CEOs claim to fame encompasses her relentless raising of capital from investors through pure deception, and hiring extremely intelligent people through the same brand of lies. The startup doesn't actually have a strategy, 2-5 year plan, nothing. As a previous employee, I have recognized, first-hand, the lack of inter-departmental and executive communication. Also, one can realize the roles of individuals are constantly in flux, with the extremely under qualified sporting lofty job titles. There is no real feedback culture at 1-Page, which is vital for an early stage startup. Maybe its because "managers" here don't know how to manage? Hmm... I encourage anyone who is vying, or being recruited for a position at 1-Page, to do the following: 1) Speak to any of the ex-employees. Oh, wait, if you can pin-point one- some are so embarrassed to have been a part of this monstrosity that they have excluded 1-Page from their work history. 2) Take a look at their stock trends over the years. As of now, they stand strong at 25 cents. (Check out their downward slope on Yahoo Finance). 3) Ask them about their attrition rate, oh and about Joanna Riley, madam CEO- pretty much a disgrace to leaders who are women in the workplace. Forget inspirational, Joanna is the epitome of deception within the professional realm. Also, the CFO (also a woman) swiftly exited the company. Her tenure? Not even a year. I pity those few decently accomplished employees left at the company. 4) Be prudent by asking them about their customer satisfaction/testimonials. Conduct some due-diligence on your part and actually call the HR (the users of the product) department of their list of alleged 1-Page users and ask them about their experience. To put it blatantly, you will find out that the software does not work. Again, good luck. It may be a task to get them on the phone in the first place, and you'll probably have to remind them about what 1-Page is. It is a relatively unknown illusion. My final advice to you: Do yourself a favor and stay away from this laughing stock. My words are astringent, yes, but evidence and ex-employees would agree. Good luck!

Pros

I really enjoy working at 1-Page and most days like going to work or picking up my phone to catch up on what's been happening or what needs to be done. I left my last company as I ultimately didn't feel valued however this has never been the case here. 1-Page like most startups has its challenges (it's a startup after all), but with those challenges come loads of opportunities for those brave enough to take them - I certainly feel like I've been supported and given my fair share of career opportunities. I've always enjoyed the raw accountability everyone has at 1-Page - things are moving too quickly to carry passengers! From the moment I first joined the firm I've always taken huge confidence in the quality of the talent at 1-Page, it really does have some smart and capable people on the team who give me the belief that if anyone can solve the market problem we are trying to address then it is us!

Cons

In the past there has been some frustration around the communication of the vision but this has been listened to and is improving noticeably. After getting off to a flying start the company has had a couple of set backs in the last year but again things are improving. If you struggle with ambiguity then 1-Page might not be the best place for you (but that can probably be said of most startups and in fact most organizations nowadays!).
