Pros

Joining 1GEN as an AI Intern was far more than a technical placement; it was an immersion into a culture of radical transparency, compassion, and true empowerment. Coming from a background of rigid, traditional office structures, the environment fostered by Paul Singh Oberoi was a revelation—a space where every voice is not only heard but actively encouraged to innovate. The "1GEN vision" goes beyond a tech stack; it’s about collective brilliance and collaboration. I am deeply grateful to Paul Singh Oberoi, Rajbir Kaur, Twinkle Bauddh (our team manager), and Jessica Saldana for their mentorship and for giving me the agency to find my own professional voice.

Cons

The pace is fast and the standards for "1GEN quality" are very high. If you prefer a slow environment with repetitive tasks, this might be a challenge—but for those who want to grow, this "con" is actually a pro.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working here. The company has a strong AI mindset and actively encourages innovation across teams. There is a collaborative work environment where everyone’s ideas are genuinely heard and considered. One of the best aspects is the openness to experimentation, employees are encouraged to put new ideas on the table and contribute beyond their core responsibilities. It’s a great place for continuous learning, skill enhancement, and staying updated with emerging technologies. Overall, a forward-thinking organization with excellent opportunities for growth and professional development.

Cons

• As a growing organization, some processes are still evolving and may lack structured documentation. • Fast-paced projects can sometimes require handling multiple priorities simultaneously. • Work-life balance can sometimes be challenging during peak project deadlines.
