Pros
I have been working for the company for the past 2 years and have learned so much about myself. Before I joined the company I had a lot of experience in the hospitality industry, managing restaurants, and in corporate America working in the PR Field at Tiffany & CO. Both industries taught me a lot about the business world, but definitely did not give me the same opportunity this company has.
While working at 5 North for the past 2 years I have gained the confidence in presenting myself to all sorts of business owners. I have also learned a lot about managing a group of 10-30 people. Prior to this job I never developed the right management skills that are necessary to run a successful business. Whereas working for 5 North I had the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes.
Being raised by a very successful entrepreneur, I came into the company with a lot of other career opportunities. But everyday I am grateful that I came across 5 North and I am very confident that I have a great path ahead of me with 5 North.
Cons
While working for the company I have been challenged every day to get out of my comfort zone. At first this definitely seemed like a huge con. But looking back on everything I have learned I am very grateful I was put into those situations.
