Pros

The employees work hard for their clients. There are some really good people working at this company.

Cons

The health insurance policy (6 degrees uses their own reference based pricing) will not cover most hospitals in the areas but 6 Degrees won’t tell you that. Their policy discriminates against people with health conditions. If you want to role the dice and think you’ll stay healthy you’ll probably be okay. But if you ever get sick or have a pre-existing condition, then be prepared to spend your check on health cost.

We practice what we preach. 6 Degrees does not discriminate and takes affirmative measures to ensure equality in benefits and employment. Accordingly, any form of discrimination in our workplace is intolerable without exception. We regret that the former employee did not have a positive experience while being a member of our team and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Exposure to complex healthcare systems, policies and payer-provider dynamics.. Collaborative teams across operational, system development, and analytics functions. Highly analytical environment with opportunities to leverage data for meaningful impact

Cons

Growth opportunities exist but may require proactive effort. Given the complexity of healthcare and regulatory requirements, processes can be detailed and sometimes slow-moving, with cross-functional alignment requiring time to ensure workflows are coordinated and operate smoothly across teams.

Insurance is terrible, toxic culture, salary is lower than average, experience is not valued, favoritism observed.
