Pros
good commissions if you're good at door 2 door sales and you get to walk through a lot of neighborhoods.
Cons
door to door sales is rough, and frankly at time it's hard to walk up to so many doors just to be turned away. This was the worst job I ever had. Walking up and down streets in the heat, in the snow, in the rain, etc. Managers are always on top of you and hassling you about things that aren't important, yet they never give practical advice on cold calls or door knocking. They just berate us and want us to magically produce results.
