Pros

None worth speaking of in length.

Cons

If you have any administrative intentions for work, avoid this company at all costs. You will be stressed at all times. Managers and other staff members will breathe down your neck at all times for work completion. Your plate will be overflowing with things to do at all times, especially towards the end of the sales month. You will be behind with your work at all times. Workflow is chaotic and has no sense of organization. Software and systems are archaic. Management is morally and ethically compromised. There is no potential for advancement. If you are looking for secure, honest work, look elsewhere. The amount of money paid hourly is laughable to the living costs of the area. You're ideas for improvement will not be listened to. There is no respect at this company. This company only cares about profit and nothing else.

Pros

In my experience, AGS is a great place to work to acquire new skills. Although I don't work in sales, I went to a trade show. My manager gave me on-the-job training, and I learned how to generate leads. I'm grateful for that experience because I enjoyed it—and discovered that I could do it. AGS is a small company, and as a result, sometimes you get to wear more than one hat. For me, I've found that to be beneficial.

Cons

There are few local takeout places, so you need to be organized and bring your lunch.

Pros

Interesting and good natured co-workers. Well meaning and approachable management. Casual atmosphere.

Cons

Reluctance to grow, innovate or improve overall efficiency by improving communication and coordination amongst departments. New ideas or ways of doing things are mostly dismissed without consideration in favor of keeping things the way they have been. Majority of positions are dead end, higher than average rate of turnover and they often have trouble adequately staffing.
