Pros

The people here are the real deal. From day one, I've been struck by how genuine, collaborative, and welcoming everyone has been, not the performative kind of culture you sometimes encounter, but authentic warmth from colleagues who clearly enjoy what they do and who they work with. AHEAD is a company that truly accelerates strategy into execution. What sets them apart is their ability to engineer integrated solutions across infrastructure, applications, data, and security, not in silos, but as a cohesive thoughtful approach that delivers real outcomes for customers. It's the kind of work you can feel proud to be a part of. As someone new to the company, onboarding can often feel like drinking from a firehose, but the team here has made it feel exciting rather than overwhelming. I'm energized by the direction of the company and the caliber of the people around me.

Cons

Still getting up to speed, so too early to have meaningful constructive feedback.

Pros

Strong culture and support system. Everyone wants to support and help others succeed. Leadership, especially the CEO are very transparent and supportive

Cons

A LOT of balls in the air. The company is still growing very fast, we "punch above our weight class" in many industries and the teams that are growing the business are extremely small.

Pros

Going from a toxic employer to AHEAD has been the best change for my happiness. Everyone at AHEAD is motivated, positive, and willing to help each other. I no longer dread logging into work, and even enjoy the days where I have to work a bit longer or go the extra mile, because I know it will be appreciated and I can take the time I need in return. Having unlimited PTO you don't get shamed for using is amazing. I've been supported in my efforts and have a lot of autonomy without micromanagement, which is a great feeling. Upper management really trusts you and trusts in the hire.

Cons

While being in a high-growth company is exciting, it can also be exhausting. Sometimes you need the "rocket ship" to take a beat, but there is no real lull. More company-wide time off would be helpful so that you can get a break where you don't come back to 50+ emails per day. The only other downside is that due to the fabulous employee retention, people stay in their roles for a looong long time. There are not a lot of opportunities for upward mobility as a result, from what I have seen thus far.
