Pros
AMS have a multitude of clients with some of those long-standing . There are some good people at AMS trying to do the right thing for their clients.
Cons
I set my stall out to get a role with AMS having knowledge of them through my recruitment career and encountering some great people who worked for them. The reality is it really does depend what account you find yourself on to the experience you will have. My manager would send messages in teams at 10pm at night asking if I was online as they had a question! Regularly you would be putting in many hours including weekend messages - which don’t get me wrong is ok but not constantly. In the accounts I came in contact with there was a distinct lack of structure and so rod these accounts they had for more than 12 months. Due to the lack of budget and talent for what they w at to pay they have complete teams with no recruitment experience and expect them to perform like seasoned experts from Day 1.
