Upper management is a mess.
High quality lead distribution (or lack thereof) is based on favoritism or retribution. They'll endlessly deny this in public facing meetings but it's a given when you talk to a manager about it behind closed doors.
Lead generation is often done with methods that mislead targets into thinking they are calling other businesses. likely other home warranty companies. Most of the day you'll be talking to people who called by accident and you'll be expected to convert wrong numbers into sales. It's atrocious. I've never seen a company so reliant on this type of tactic.
The product itself is abysmal, even by home warranty standards. Read the sample terms on the website and compare it with almost any other home warranty company. It's laughable. If you don't mind selling actual snake oil, actual fugazi, this job is perfect for you. Jordan Belfort wasn't a good salesman -- he just lied a lot. But these guys will post gifs of Leo all day in teams to convince you that he is some type of god. You'll need to obfuscate the truth or flat out lie to be successful here. This is not a job for honest salespeople.
