Pros

$700 a week IF you work 40hrs otherwise you aren't guaranteed anything. The 700 is nice.

Cons

No way to track your hours, only way you are considered working is if you are making calls ei... Checking emails, doing learning classes, trying to get their system to work so you can make phone calls, none of those things count towards your 40hr minimum. Their "training" is a joke because they barely know how to use their own equipment. They lie to you about their product and the use you to lie to customers until you find the proof of it all in their terms and conditions page. The managers themselves lie to you and tell you that you've worked your min hours and then you find out 2 weeks later when your paycheck comes in that it was wrong. You tell payroll and HR all this and they tell you it was a misunderstanding and too bad you still aren't getting paid even when you have screen shots of the messages from the managers. They feed and assign leads to their main puerile who worked in their office in Florida before covid and they leave you with trash calls that will almost never result in a sale. They harass people by calling them 8 and thirteen times a day, every day (I have the screen shots of these call histories) they tell you to push people to buy "until they either hang up on you or give you the credit card number" I have that in a screen shot too straight from the training manager. They lied to me about the minimum amount of hours I had to work during the week of labor day and then didn't pay me saying I didn't work enough. Then they fired me for arguing.

Pros

You can work from home

Cons

Upper management is a mess. High quality lead distribution (or lack thereof) is based on favoritism or retribution. They'll endlessly deny this in public facing meetings but it's a given when you talk to a manager about it behind closed doors. Lead generation is often done with methods that mislead targets into thinking they are calling other businesses. likely other home warranty companies. Most of the day you'll be talking to people who called by accident and you'll be expected to convert wrong numbers into sales. It's atrocious. I've never seen a company so reliant on this type of tactic. The product itself is abysmal, even by home warranty standards. Read the sample terms on the website and compare it with almost any other home warranty company. It's laughable. If you don't mind selling actual snake oil, actual fugazi, this job is perfect for you. Jordan Belfort wasn't a good salesman -- he just lied a lot. But these guys will post gifs of Leo all day in teams to convince you that he is some type of god. You'll need to obfuscate the truth or flat out lie to be successful here. This is not a job for honest salespeople.
