-Easy interview, quick offer -No pre-installed or managed software on provided work laptop -Coworkers are nice
Cons
Office Culture: -Favoritism -Drama, toxic office environment -High turnover rate -Company prioritizes their social media image above employee happiness -Rumors of sexual harassment and discriminatory hiring practices Benefits: -Office policies that directly impact your life (e.g. work-from-home days) are constantly dangled over your head and change seemingly every few weeks -No raises, no bonuses -Company does not contribute to any of the health insurance cost, you are better off purchasing independently -Lower than average salary, lower than average vacation and sick days Day-To-Day: -Micromanagement -You will spend weeks at a time doing nothing but sitting at the office all day with no tasks, no training, and no direction, until you are put on a project and expected to know everything -Office hours are 8:30AM to 5PM with a strict 30 minute time limit for your lunch break -Office is sparsely and cheaply equipped, there are no huddle rooms or quiet work areas, you will be forced to do your work while others are speaking loudly or eating right next to you -Very disorganized project management, if any project management at all Opportunities: -You are expected to pay for your own technical certifications, no training structure is provided -Confusing onboarding process, no consistent training provided All in all, this place is a mess and was highly detrimental to my mental health.
