1) toxic people at managerial role be it Academic Head or National Academic Director
2) Long and tiring working hours. You have to be at workstation strict 9 hrs. They will be monitoring you through CCTV. Stay away for even 10 mins from your desk and see the repercussions.
3) bad work life balance as they have 6 days/week working and management is hell negative while approving your accumulated leaves(CL/EL) even for genuine reasons
4) they are very unprofessional while firing the faculties. I have seen the case where the faculty had no idea of this and was called in the chamber of NAD just before 7pm and handed over the termination letter.
5) They make you sign 2 years contract. Every month they cut 10% of your salary as sincerity. If you resign before 2 years then forget that accumulated 10%, on top of that you will most likely be served legal notices to compensate for the training etc cost.
6) They follow strict dress code. That includes compulsory tie as if you are a consultant in McKinsey when you actually look like a salesperson.
7) Appraisal is average and democratic. So, even if they have recognised and rated you as a high performer (4 on the scale of 5) your net salary increment would be hardly 2-3 thousand more than an average performer.
8) These many negativity and restrictions are enough to weed talented faculties out of Aakash.
9) If you are good at your subject and by your bad luck or ignorance happen to land in Aakash you will feel below average quality all around who have manged to prove their worth to management by bootlickinh and by superficially creating their aura.
10) just one suggestion to any body thiking of joining Aakash. First of all try your best not yo join Aakash. If by any chance you have to join then from day1 keep on looking for another job. Switch immediately even if you find a job paying far lesser than Aakash. Since everything can't be measured just in terms of money.
