Pros

- The company has so many problems, but it only ever tries to fix them with one thing: money. This means that the pay/compensation is good, at least for some - There are some competent, collaborative and kind people amidst the horror - Some teams seem to have a better culture and ethic, like HR, international, customer success or marketing

Cons

Either my fingers would start blistering or the Glassdoor's server capacity would be reached before I finished listing the endless problems that are so deeply embedded at Absolute. The company is run by a woefully incompetent, misaligned and toxic leadership team (with a couple of exceptions). Executives seem to come and go every week. That team has demonstrated over and over that it is either unwilling or unable to even acknowledge the existential issues facing the company, let alone solve them. These problems are most concentrated in the sales organization, which is by far the most unpleasant professional culture I've ever had the misfortune to be a part of. New FireEye-heavy leadership brought in last year is selfish, egotistical, cronyist, corrupt, duplicitous, dishonest and just generally everything a workplace should aspire not to be. Good people have been leaving in droves, which is conveniently blamed on 'the great resignation' or because of fallout from the company that we acquired, despite overwhelming evidence that the culture is in crisis. It's rats leaving a sinking ship. Everyone is stressed, depressed or unhappy, and the general level of trust and transparency is almost non existent. This company will be the subject of a documentary or a business school paper some day, showing all of the ways a company will fail if it allows politics to fester and nepotism to run rampant. It's impossible to overstate just how many crises Absolute is dealing with at any given moment. It's a farce. I'd laugh if it wasn't so painful to see good people suffer.

Pros

The people at Absolute have been wonderful. There is a culture of supporting one another and lifting up any type of success. We have great products that can truly make a difference for our customers.

Cons

I've found that from a Go-to-Market standpoint, Absolute is a bit hesitant to invest in resources needed to reach its full potential.
