This company is unethical, racist, intolerable, and sickening. While working at ActiveCo, I was harassed, verbally abused, screamed at, and even sworn at by the owners. I also observed this behaviour towards others, helplessly.
ActiveCo’s work environment is toxic, employees are micromanaged, reprimanded, threatened, and yelled at on a daily basis and NEVER praised for a job well done. At ActiveCo, it was common to hear employees being screamed and sworn at from across the office. This was a daily phenomenon. Please do not fall for the culture that they boast about on social media - it’s fake. This company is in a vicious downward spiral caused by poor leadership. I observed some of the most racist, unethical, and sickening business practices while at ActiveCo. For example, I was prohibited from interviewing anyone by the name of Mohammad. The rest I can’t even speak of. They do not care about their employees, this is the biggest lie that they preach.
I sincerely feel bad for the employees left at ActiveCo as they are incredible people and deserve better. Not to mention the low wages that do not meet industry standards and minimum vacation. If you enjoy work life balance, this does not exist at ActiveCo, they have a come early and stay late philosophy - AND will reprimand you for it WITHOUT paying you overtime. Also, If you want a day off, they will deduct your pay regardless of being a salaried employee. There is many other critical flaws, too many to cover in one review.
I am so thankful I left ActiveCo when I did and I hope you think twice about joining this company.
