Pros

There are no pros that make it worth it to work with this company

Cons

The cheating is unbelievable. Some processors are allowed to find claims and hold them for themselves. They look for all the easy ones. There is not a fair distribution of claims. The training is joke, they train you and have you do all the difficult claims while only the privileged do many easy claims with no records to read. You are paid per claim, so if one person finds 100 prescription refills, they are making $$$ in a short time while others struggle to do 5 in that time frame. The underprivileged are assigned difficult claims while some get to pick their claims.

Pros

I worked at Ason for over a year and consistently maintained strong performance metrics, including an average quality score of approximately 98%. During my time there, I received positive feedback overall and was never formally coached or disciplined regarding claim handling concerns. Near the end of my employment, I was asked to review a claim based on feedback from Aon, the client, only to later discover I was not the adjuster who made the original decision on the file. Shortly afterward, I was informed that additional claims had allegedly been handled incorrectly, despite never previously receiving this feedback through quality reviews or management discussions. I requested specific examples and supporting documentation multiple times but was never provided with the list of claims in question.

Cons

The experience felt inconsistent and lacked transparency. I also felt leadership did not advocate fairly or apply standards consistently across team members. Despite the way my employment ended, I remain confident in my claims handling abilities, professionalism, and overall work performance.
