Pros

Good products and nice people. Generally, colleagues are helpful and we have lots of intelligent people who work hard. Our desktop products are still market leading for a reason and we have some fantastic enterprise platforms that can do amazing things Communication is a ok rather than brilliant, but you do get a sense that you are doing a valued role and in general terms staff are looked after very well. We have plenty of technology at our disposal, pleasant offices with a wide range of break areas, decent coffee etc!! Compensation is good and things like quarterly bonuses are most welcome. Generally, left to get on with your job which is a blessing.

Cons

Bureacracy in getting things done is very long winded. Lack of decent marketing of enterprise products - clients simply do not know what we do in this space, very short term revenue targets, lack of resource in some areas, very west coast oriented, makes decision making in Europe very slow and difficult Pricing structures very complex and European pricing is viewed by most as rip-off, very difficult to justify. Lack of management understanding of Enterprise Level Selling and the length of time it takes to generate and close business makes doing business very difficult sometimes. Short termism is damaging the image of the company in some clients. Often seen as agressive to deal with.

Pros

**Supportive, collaborative culture** — Teams are generally kind, respectful, and willing to help. Cross‑functional partners treat contractors well, and communication is clear and professional. **Strong work‑life balance** — Workloads are manageable, expectations are reasonable, and leadership respects personal time. **Clear processes and documentation** — Adobe invests in structure, which makes it easier to ramp up and deliver consistently.

Cons

**Contractor limitations** — Contractors often don’t have access to the same tools, systems, or internal mobility opportunities as full‑time employees. **Uncertain path to full‑time roles** — Even when you perform well, conversion opportunities depend heavily on headcount and budget, not merit. **Benefits gap** — Contractors miss out on Adobe’s strong benefits package, which can make long‑term stability challenging. **Slower decision cycles** — As with many large companies, approvals and cross‑team alignment can take time. *Role boundaries can be rigid** — Because of the structured environment, there’s less room for contractors to expand scope or take on stretch projects.
