Pros
The job is easy. The first priority is safety. Don't tailgate, don't use your phone, don't speed, don't take chances. The most important thing you can do is be safe. After that, show up on time, deliver parts as instructed, Do returns from shops, and follow directions.
Cons
It's the bottom of the barrel on pay. You would make more working at McDonald's. 5 years ago I made more working picking pieces in a warehouse. Because of that, you get the bottom of the barrel of employees. Coworkers who literally can't tell the difference between a four or five digit number. Employees who can't put parts away. And while you're the physical connection between the shop and the repair facilities, you're at the hands of other people in the store as far as how promptly you can do your work. And guess who takes the abuse from the workshops? That's right, you do and you just have to sit there and take it. For me it was when I got flipped off by a workshop because somebody else delivered a part too slowly earlier that day. Expect to be treated rudely and treated like you're worthless. Of course, given the pay, advance is pretty well showing you that you're worthless too.
