Pros

Enjoy delivering auto parts to our commercial customers and developing meaningful relationships to increase sales. Learning new things such as inventory management and working with our retail customers.

Cons

Pay is low for what you do. Started at $13.15 an hour, got a whopping .40 cent raise in March of 2025 and got another .45 cent raise in October of 25 due to state minimum wage rate hike. My District Manager doesn’t even know my name. Totally ignores anyone beneath him in the store. I have spent 35 years in senior management at a major airline retiring in 2022 and have never seen anything like this management style. I have spent countless hours of my own time trying to make our small splice of the business a little better. For instance, creating a map of the hub area to help new employees locate the vast amount of parts in the store. Developed a New Drivers Training Aid to assist them in the day to day operations of our responsibilities. Developed a map of our delivery area to assist our new drivers in locating our commercial customers quickly and efficiently. I did this on my own time without even a thank you from management.

Pros

Work life balance, nice office in North Hills, unlimited PTO and sometimes they provide lunch

Cons

The pay is not competitive at all. For this to be a Fortune 500 company you would think the pay would be better but honestly this is just a good company to have on your resume, gain the experience for about 6 months to a year and then start applying elsewhere.
