Pros

When i first started with this company it was great. I quickly moved up in the ranks. Started out as part time, then full time, and then key holder. That was in the first 2 yrs. With this came of course better compensation. Once full time you also get benefits which include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and stock options. The next 4 yrs with the company i moved from key holder to RPP, then assistant manager, and now currently as CPP. Pay for Assistant Manager and CPP vary but i am at $16.00 an hour right now plus time and a half after working 40hrs. Which by the way if your a CPP you have to work 45hrs a week. All in all... after getting my taxes taken out and all benefits deducted i bring home about $950- $1050 bi-weekly.

Cons

Beginning pay is horrible... $8.50 an hour. Pay is not the greatest... i am an exception because im bi-lingual. If your lucky you will have a decent store manager... but in all honesty, for the 7yrs i have worked for this company there was only 1 manager that i had that was worth anything. Mostly because upper district managers are CONSTANTLY badgering the store managers with threats about losing there jobs unless they make there store numbers. Which of course... bad things rolls down hill so then the rest of the employees are being told that they can easily be replaced if we are not hitting our 1) Sales Goals, 2) DPT (dolars per transaction), 3) SPH (sales per hour) and of course 4) attachment sales. If your numbers are poor in any one of these categories.... forget it. And the company just seems to be getting worse. It used to be that managers were actually allowed to make a schedule. Seems logical to moe right? Not to corporate... they have a computer that takes all the information for the previous month and then takes the average of when you had the highest sales and lowest and then makes a schedule for you. In theory this could work IF every month was the EXACT SANE... but it NEVER is. This results in the worst scheduling ever. Sometimes according to the schedule you can work a 10 hour shift and only get a half hour lunch. Sometimes it has 3 employees scheduled to go to lunch at the same time which leaves 2 people in the store during the highest sales point of the day. Be prepared to work you butt off and be cursed at by every customer that comes in from that point on asking you where all the help is.

A lot of schedule flexibility

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism/bad management, especially in the DC that I work in. (DC-41)

Pros

It’s a pretty easy job, very fun people to work with. Hours as a driver are pretty consistent.

Cons

The pay isn’t great. It would be nice if the drivers were making at least $17 or $18 an hour. Also benefits don’t extend to health insurance only dental and vision if you are only considered part-time. Anybody that isn’t the GM, CPP, and RPP are considered part-time, regardless of the hours you get.
