Pros

Pay for management is higher than other stores of similar size and volume. Senior management communicates well with General Managers about company issues. Bonuses are unlimited depending upon the volume of your store. Good benefits Parts avalibility and turn around times greatly exceed the competion. Senior management is receptive to suggestions and feedback. Corporate customer service is very helpful to it's employees. Upward mobility is easy at the store level for individuals who work hard and are competent. Company is very accomidating to individuals who need time off. Knowledgeable team members

Cons

General Managers are required to be in thier store 5 days a week for at least 50 hours. In addition to the 5 days a week at the store, you usually end up in a meeting once a week for anywhere from 2 hrs. to 8 hrs. Hours are constantly being cut by senior management and they require the General Manager to fill in any gaps or understaffing in the schedule. New contests, sayings, and policy changes every month. Too many accessories and not enough parts. Sales floor items: 60%, Hard Parts: 40%. Plan-o-grams are continuous and products rotate in and out. Understaffed a lot due to lack of hours.

Pros

A lot of schedule flexibility

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism/bad management, especially in the DC that I work in. (DC-41)

Pros

It’s a pretty easy job, very fun people to work with. Hours as a driver are pretty consistent.

Cons

The pay isn’t great. It would be nice if the drivers were making at least $17 or $18 an hour. Also benefits don’t extend to health insurance only dental and vision if you are only considered part-time. Anybody that isn’t the GM, CPP, and RPP are considered part-time, regardless of the hours you get.
