Good culture and differentials, but low PTO - Registered Nurse AdventHealth Littleton Employee Review

No major cons. One of my favorite jobs I’ve had in nursing. There’s the usual corporate 15,000 modules per week, etc. but that’s pretty much everywhere.

I haven’t started working on the floor, my review is based solely on onboarding process, but seems like a great healthcare system to work for, and very excited!

During my onboarding appointment, I went over medications I was taking, and stated I had filled all of this out beforehand. Employee health told me it wasn’t there. While moving on with the process, and filing out other personal information, and results of my drug test, I look at the computer screen and notice it was not my name listed there despite giving my drivers license. I’m thankful I noticed. They asked me to send over my vaccination records, so I email them with my first and last name along with the documents. I think recieved an email with someone else’s name when being addressed stating these records are for another patient, and I need to contact my physician. I again told her my name, and that these are my records. She did apologize, and everything was sorted out, but could have been a serious mistake had it been over looked. Errors happen, but knowing the name of employee you are onboarding is step one to prevent mistakes.
