Pros

Now I cannot say that this is ubiquitous across all branches of Aegis since I only worked at the Ahmedabad one, but the sheer decrepitude of those occupying the higher echelons of the organisation means that the organisation is an absolute snooze and could prove to be an enjoyable experience for those who just want to bag a salary at the end of every month. You can sit back and spend umpteen days doing next to nothing, unless you choose to be an utter donkey and decide to work thinking that it'd lend you progression (it won't cause the centre is barely functional). Good for those who intend to accrue easy experience and wages. Could be a good fit for those still pursuing their studies and need to earn on the side i.e college going kids.

Cons

It's in disarray. The HR department is a bubbling mess and you'd be forgiven for not recognising them as the aforementioned. Administration is almost non-existent, which one can verify first-hand by visiting their top-floor cafeteria. It's littered with big rats and an obnoxious smell always hangs about the place. Operations is the only operational cog of this flailing empire, alliteration intended. That does not mean that it is any good, quite the opposite. They will keep selling you some sort of a pipe dream about promoting you 6 months into your tenure if they require you in the face of heavy employee turnover/ attrition rates. For the most part this is simply a fib to keep your boots in the swamp however even if this does materialise, you shall not get papers to certify this for a long, long time (probably never) and you'd not experience promotion is tangible terms. The quality of recruitment is dreadful and hence you shall find yourself in the midst of people who steal and dupe for an extra helping of cash. No background checks are done. Obviously, these very nonces act as your superiors which means that your professional life is doomed. Nobody deserves such doldrums and I'd implore those reading this review to do themselves good and not put out and join an organisation as shady as Aegis even if times fall hard on you. They don't pay enough to make the suffering worthwhile either.
