Pros
-This is a company where there is no-cap, and if you want to do your own role and learn something else or move into another role of interest you are able to. For those who want to grow to their potential, this is the place for you.
- Everything (compensation, role, promotions) is based off of someone's interest, passion, and most importantly eagerness
- Salary increases are given even when the company isn't meeting financial targets just as a gesture of appreciation. Not many companies do that.
-Fully remote, which is great if you have strong communication skills and not a great place to work if you are in a role (non-developer) with weak communication skills or require a lot of hand holding
-Right fit is important here. It's a growing company, still requires more process in place but for those who are quiet, stay within their lanes, not motivated or have poor attitude you will run into issues quickly.
-Hires were made in the past who lacked work maturity or skill-sets to do the job and the problem was we kept them too long.
-The CEO really cares but due to incompetent team members at times, needs to do their job for them.
-CEO teaches a lot and very willing to mentor/coach the right people who have desire, interest, and potential
- I left because I've learnt so much from the company and CEO that I've outgrown the role and wanted to challenge myself in a new opportunity due to the skills I've gained here.
Cons
-Really fast paced which might not be for everyone but some people thrive
-Very bad hires in sales and marketing in the past who are neither a skillset or culture fit that has left damages still current until date
