Worklife at Aha! is very autonomous with minimal meetings and minimal processes. As an engineer, I find this to be the perfect way to get work done and have a real impact on a remote team. Every week something ships at Aha! We ship features when they are "customer ready," not according to deadlines or release cycles. It is satisfying to work on a feature that you know will delight your customers, and not waiting a long time for it to go live or to work on features that never ship. We also rarely start something in engineering that we do not finish. That is a testament to having a clear strategy and a highly collaborative product management and UX team.
