Pros
The job itself is great. Not your typical call center. Currently, this place is the most competitive when it comes to commision and base pay, which provides a lot of financial stability...currently. Given the nature of your business, everyday is a new adventure. At the end of the day, we do help people find programs to save their lives.
Cons
There no communication from upper management. There are always new rumors everyday it seem, and management does not address anything....ever. It doesn't matter what manager you ask, you will get a different answer from each one. Being kept out in the dark or just not told the truth makes you feel like the carpet is going to be pulled from under you at any point. This also creates a very stressful environment to work in because everyone is extremely frustrated, and rightfully so. Really this is the biggest con. The rest of the procedures implemented are reasonable. Also, there seems to be little opportunity to move up without making some allies. Honestly, the managers themselves are great people. They a respectful, and I know for sure they are struggling to balance everything just as much as we are or maybe even more, but they could do better in including us or understanding where we are coming from.
